AMD is introducing a new Automated Driving (AD) tool that will allow people to teach their cars how to drive in various racing environments. AMD partners with On3 Technologies, an automotive software company in Silicon Valley, to offer the tool free of charge via Gt5 Garage Editor V1 3 0. Gt5 Garage Editor V1 3 0 is a third-party tool that allows anyone interested in teaching their car how to race on different surfaces and weather conditions. It is compatible with all existing AMD GPUs with GPUOpen drivers installed. With the release of Gt5 Garage Editor V1 3 0, AMD is launching Autonomous Driving to further accelerate the adoption of autonomous driving systems by providing advanced AI technology for training cars. The technology was released in partnership with On3. AMD announced the Radeon Pro Duo at the SIGGRAPH 2015, featuring two full-fat Fiji GPUs with 8192 stream processors based on second generation of Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture instead of one Radeon R9 Fury X with 4096 stream processors based on first generation GCN architecture.
